Free Mother's Day Yoga in the Garden
This event is no longer on sale.
Join us on Mother's Day for a free 60-minute outdoor yoga class nestled in the Rose Garden alcove — designed to ground you in your body and the beauty around you. With a somatic, all-levels approach, this class meets you exactly where you are. No experience needed, just an openness to move and breathe outside.
Whitney Abraham is a recent graduate of the 200-hour Teacher Training at Practice Yoga Austin, where her studies centered on accessibility and creating welcoming spaces for all bodies. Grounded in Patanjali's Eight Limbs and a current mentorship focused on the nervous system dynamics of a yoga classroom, her teaching is rooted in the belief that movement can be a gentle doorway into self-compassion. Whitney's hope is to offer a safe, tender container for anyone exploring the opportunity to meet themselves with a little more grace. An avid indoor plant lover, she is especially thrilled to bring this practice to the beautiful grounds of Zilker Botanical Gardens. She hopes you'll join her for 60 minutes of movement, presence, and community.
