Rasti Draw: Unplug and Draw

Take a break from screens and reconnect with something simple: drawing. Try something new, meet new people, and leave with a memory. 

This 90-minute session is about slowing down, noticing the world around you, and enjoying the quiet act of sketching. Rasti will guide you through a relaxed, beginner-friendly experience using real objects for inspiration—like plants, stones, or whatever’s in front of us.

No pressure. No phones. No experience needed. Just come in, unplug, and draw.

All materials provided.

Class is recommended for ages 12 and up, all minors must be accompanied by guardian.

Cost

• $55 per person, garden admission included with registration
• $45 for Conservancy Members

Know Before You Go

• You are welcome to arrive as early as 9:00 AM to check in and get settled - class will start right at 9:30 AM
• Meet in the Auditorium, located in the main building adjacent to the Gift Shop
• This class will take place both indoors and outdoors 
• Important Note: Some areas of the Taniguchi Japanese Garden are not ADA accessible. If you have mobility concerns, please reach out to us at info@zbgconservancy.org
