Garden Hours
- August 31, 2024 - May 31, 2025: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (The garden closes at 5:00 PM)
- June 1, 2025 - August 31, 2025: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (The garden closes at 4:00 PM)
Zilker Botanical Garden is Closed on the Following Dates:

Austin Resident Discount
Austin residents receive a $2 discount on tickets! You must be signed in to our website to receive the discount.

- If you are already registered, please use the "Sign-In" button in the same corner before purchasing your tickets online. Your discount will be applied after you click "Add to Cart."
Member Discount
To receive your member discount, please sign in using the "Sign-In" button in the upper-right corner. Once logged in, your discount will be applied after you click "Add to Cart."

Reciprocal Admission
Zilker Botanical Garden participates in the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP), offering admission discounts at over 330 gardens across North America.
Present your current AHS or reciprocal garden membership card at Guest Services upon entry to receive your discount.
Museums For All
Through the Museums for All program, individuals receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free access to Zilker Botanical Garden.
We invite all families with Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards, WIC cards, STAR cards, CHIP cards, SNAP, Medicaid cards, and MAP identification cards to show their card at Guest Services upon entry for free general admission.
Military Discount
Members and veterans of the military receive $1 off with proof of ID. This discount can only be redeemed in person at the garden. Please show your ID to Guest Services upon entry to receive the discount.
Know Before You Go
- Parking: Limited parking is available on-site, offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Accessibility: ADA access is limited, and mobility aids are not available for rent. Accessible parking is available at the Barton Springs entrance located at 2220 Barton Springs Rd.
