Garden Hours
- August 31, 2024 - May 31, 2025: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (The garden closes at 5:00 PM)
- June 1, 2025 - August 31, 2025: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (The garden closes at 4:00 PM)
Annual Garden Closures
- New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Both ACL Fest Weekends (First two weekends of October), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

Austin Resident Discount
- Austin residents receive a $2 discount on tickets! You must be signed in to our website to receive the discount.
- If you are not yet registered, please use the "Register" button in the upper-right corner.
- If you are already registered, please use the "Sign-In" button in the same corner before purchasing your tickets online. Your discount will be applied after you click "Add to Cart."
Member Discount
- To receive your member discount, please sign in using the "Sign-In" button in the upper-right corner. Once logged in, your discount will be applied after you click "Add to Cart."

Reciprocal Admission - Redeem in person
- Zilker Botanical Garden participates in the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admissions Program (RAP), offering admission discounts at over 330 gardens across North America.
- Present your current AHS or reciprocal garden membership card at Guest Services upon entry to receive your discount.
Museums For All - Redeem in person
- Through the Museums for All program, individuals receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free access to Zilker Botanical Garden. Please bring your card in person to the gate to redeem. Applicable to general admission only.
Military Discount - Redeem in person
- Members and veterans of the military receive $1 off general admission with proof of ID. This discount can only be redeemed in person at the garden. Please show your ID to Guest Services upon entry to receive the discount.
